I have been doing a lot of research on alter egos for an art project I am working on.  For women, it appears that the typical alter egos are witches, bitches, and sex kittens (a lot of them in vintage costume). One of the more atypical alter egos is a "Teddy Girl" or "Dandizette" (also known as a Quaintrelle, or a female dandy).

I have been collecting images on my Pinterest board-to me there is something incredibly sexy in a woman looking hot in men's clothing. That takes care of the visual aspect of what inspires me, but it is discovering the motivation behind the desire that is what really inspires me in my work.
